OPENING CREDITS ORDER
This is where we discuss and analyze the opening credits, like the order of the credits and why we decided to do certain things. This allows us to gain valuable knowledge within the film industry itself and about how to make our film more professional. It also gives us an insight into how important some roles are within the making of an actual film.
The credits order is actually deliberately ordered. There are a set of rules and regulations from various unions, these unions are the screen actors guild (SAG), the Directors Guild of America (DGA) and the Writers Guild of America (WGA) these unions are just like any other employers unions and they have to look after employers involved within the film making production. The order actually depends on the importance of the role, the more important the role the higher up the order they are.
The traditional way credits have been shown over the years is having white text/writing on a black background, this is because these two colours contrast each other and are easily read even with people who have poor sight. But now with the new introduction of high quality computer graphics and visualisations production teams are starting to use eye catching colours and crazy fonts to make the viewer interested in the film.
The most famous actors often appear at the start of the film or at least near the start, this is because if there is someone famous in the film most people will innocently assume that, because of the famous actor(s), the film will be good. It is a technique used for decades.

The order that the casts appears in is as follows:

The production company- This role is also important because it helps with the actual producing of the film, it helps with additional funding and helps with the film making itself.
The title- I don't think this needs explaining but the title is quite important. It allows the audience to know that the start of the film is about to begin.
The lead cast- These are fairly important. The people who are classed as the lead cat are the main characters in the film. These get mentioned before any other additional casting.
The supporting cast- These are also fairly important. These are the characters within the film that are not necessary for the plot or are not of any major importance.
